Monica & Ben’s wedding at NYLO – Plano
Monica and Ben were such a fun couple to work with! I wish them nothing but success and happiness in the future. Given the awesome setting we had at the Plano NYLO, coupled with the beautiful weather that rolled in for us, I just knew it was going to be a great night, which it surely was… (even if the Rangers did get blown out in game 3 of the World Series).

Alexis & Josh’s Engagement Session at the historic McKinney Cotton Mill.
Meet Alexis & Josh. They are getting married June 19th at St. Phillip’s Catholic Church, and we are so excited to be a part of their big day! Alexis & Josh had decided to do their engagement session at the McKinney Cotton Mill. If there is one thing I have learned about photography, it’s that sometimes no matter how well you plan your concept for a shoot… they sometimes seem to take on a mind of their own, and this was so true in this case. We arrived at the Cotton Mill to very cold temperatures, patches of ice in the parking lot, and a brisk wind that brought the temperature a lot lower than expected (so much for shooting outside). Alexis & Josh did awesome given the cold temp’s, and I can only attribute that to the warmth they give off when they are around each other! Needless to say they did not mind at all huddling together for all of the pictures, especially since they were not wearing their jackets. Despite the cold temps we had a lot of fun and got some great pictures, so I wanted to share just a few of my favorites from the session.
