Monica & Ben’s wedding at NYLO – Plano

Monica and Ben were such a fun couple to work with! I wish them nothing but success and happiness in the future. Given the awesome setting we had at the Plano NYLO, coupled with the beautiful weather that rolled in for us, I just knew it was going to be a great night, which it surely was… (even if the Rangers did get blown out in game 3 of the World Series).

Many thanks to the incredible staff at the NYLO Plano (www.nylohotels.com),  the DJ, who we have shot with many times, Daniel Frie at DJ Freespin (www.djfreespin.com), and my good friend, and associate photographer, Phanee Gudapati for helping to make this night amazing for Monica & Ben.

Sneek Peek – Laura & Chad, Paris TX.

We were asked to do a small wedding for a couple in Paris TX, which just happened to work out really well as we were already scheduled to be working from our Oklahoma office that week. Laura and Chad were a really fun couple to work with, although poor Chad, (who is a firefighter with Paris F.D.) broke his foot just before the wedding. Although Chad was a trooper the whole way through, there was no jumping around or dancing at this wedding. Apparently Chad is quite the prankster, so the going away was truly extra special, and although I thought I had seen it all… there was so much yet for me to learn because the paybacks to Chad were one of a kind. We were very lucky to have an Engine from Paris FD available to us, and while I wish I could have spent some more time shooting in, on, and around the Engine,  I was thrilled with the 5 or 10 minutes that we had.

Here is a quick, low-res sneek peak from Laura & Chads wedding.

Sneak Peak – Deena & Gerardo’s Oklahoma Wedding

This past weekend we were working from our office in Hugo Oklahoma and shot Deena & Gerardo’s wedding. Deena & Gerardo were married at the First Christian Church in Hugo, Oklahoma and the reception was held at Deena’s parents ranch outside of town. I am not sure if there was anything more we could have asked for, as the weather was simply beautiful, and the bride and groom were so much fun to work with! I was pretty excited to share a few sneak peek images from the wedding, as well as a quick video.

Jennifer & Chris’s Turtle Creek Engagement Session

Well, it has been a little bit since I have been able to update the blog, but I just had to post a few pictures from the session we had on Friday with Jennifer and Chris at Robert E Lee Park. We really had a fun time shooting their images, and the weather could not have been better for a December day.  Here are just a few favorites from their session….

Cassandra & Terrence’s Downtown McKinney Wedding

Talk about a fun wedding….

We were fortunate enough to be a part of a really colorful wedding complete with the white carriage ride through downtown McKinney. Cassandra & Terrence had a beautiful ceremony at St Peters Episcopal Church in McKinney, and their reception was held at the Grand Hotel in downtown McKinney. Many thanks to the bride and groom, Steve Stout for his assistance, and Cameron at i-entertainment for spinning some great tunes during the reception.

Cassandra’s Bridal Portraits @ the Grand Hotel, McKinney

October has been a tough month for those wanting an “outside” picture. Cassandra was really looking forward to shooting her bridal at Adriatica, the upscale development underway in McKinney, however, mother nature had something else in mind all together. After retreating from the 25 mph winds, Cassandra decided on a last minute switch to the Grand Hotel. Working with great clients make everything so easy, and Cassandra was no exception. She took all the issues in stride despite having all the stresses of an upcoming wedding day, and we were able to get some beautiful images.

Lynn’s Bridal Portrait @ McKinney Cotton Mill

The Mckinney Cotton Mill is without doubt one of my favorite locale’s to shoot at, and Lynn’s bridal portrait was no exception. While not everyone wants the edgy feel to their portraits, the great thing about the Cotton Mill is that it offers a little of everything….from the Antebellum south, to the gritty warehouse feel. We did this shoot on a particularly warm evening, but Lynn took on the challenge like a trooper…00060008b0028
